To take apart a G&W game you'll need the following:

- time
- good light
- the right tools
- small containers for the parts (screws etc.)
- some courage :-) )

Notice: I don't take responsibility for the following information, taking a game apart is your own risk ;-) )

To replace the display of a Panorama Screen game, first remove the four screws on both sides:

Then remove the two metals and after that the two plastic sliders:

Now flip open the game and remove the four screws which hold the display on the top part of the game:

Now you can flip the upper part 180° inside. The white plastic (light filter) is now on top:

Remove the four screws which hold the light filter:

Below there are two pieces of glass which are connected to each other. Between there you'll see a color filter and the LCD filter. A dark protection filter is underneath the lower glass. Now you can exchange any of those parts. Make sure that you keep the correct order of the filters and their positions!

Sort order (seen from top, the way the games was opened):

- white light filter
- thin glass
- color filter
- LCD filter
- thick glass
- protection filter

Notice: The white circuit strip with its 'fluffy foam' underneath must be placed in between the two pieces of glass.

For putting the game together just reverse above steps for taking the game apart.

Good luck! :-) )

A hint: If you're taking apart a game, it's a good idea to wear thin gloves made of cloth or so. This way the parts of the game stay nice and clean.
