Hello Cyberguile and welcome to the forum.

Are you into collecting all 60 Game&Watch games?

The fakes make collecting more difficult. You have to read the auction description closely and you must have a very good look at the pictures to avoid buying fake items...

Little update to say the collection is starting (lol)
got myself a NOS Donkey kong 3 and a shipping box (with the ten games in it) of donkey hong hockey.
starting slowly but safely :)
I'm a bit hesitating on the shipping box: I'm sure I want to keep it and of course, at least one copy of the game but what with the others ? do you think I should use them as trade value, sell them, wait and sell them when they start to get rarer or just keep all of them in the shipping box ?

A shipping box full of games for sure is a very nice and special collectors item. Not many collectors have a shipper filled with games.

I would keep the shipper including all the games in it! :ok2:

mmmm
oky oky, I think I'll do this then
btw, just bought a brand new donkey kong jr off ebay
wanted to thank you for the wonderful price charts function on your site. pretty useful to know if you're doing a good deal or not (and avoid bad deals lol)

but !!! but but but I've got a suggestion ^^
since my english isn't perfect, I'll give an example to illustrate it (will be easier for me)
Let's take a game that sold two years ago for 200 GBP (sold by an english seller then)
Today, it will be: 212 euros, 316 USD, 322 CHF
But the day it sold, the values in euro, usd and chf were different !
I think it might be a good idea to keep a track of the value in every currency the day the game sold since currency are subject to huge fluctuations nowadays.

I'm glad the database is useful for you!

The prices in the different currencies are from the day the game was sold.
There is no real time converter.

If a game was sold two years ago for 200 GBP by a british seller, the database holds the price as well in USD, AUD, EUR and CHF from the day when the auction closed.
