Rare promotional Oil Panic
A few days ago, a special Oil Panic was sold on eBay. It has a special logo/brand imprinted on its metal front plate, showing Petro-Lewis!Pocketsize Donkey Kong 3
Many collectors were guessing or were even sure, that a pocket size version of the Game&watch Donkey Kong 3 from the Micro vs. System Series must exist. But so far there was no proof for that since nobody ever has seen a PS DK 3. But recently, the collector Aris presented his latest discovery: A Pocketsize Donkey Kong 3! That proofs, that this game really exists. This game for sure can be considered as super extremely rare, since it’s the first one ever seen.
Mickey Mouse Panorama for over $1'000 !

The prices for the Game&Watch games change all the time. This depends on the demand and the number of games on the market, the rarity and the condition. A very rare game is the Game&Watch Panorama Screen Mickey Mouse. It's very difficult to find this game including its box. Regarding the auction database, there were four games only sold this year so far. That could explain the rather high end price of this Mickey Mouse here. The game was sold on October 31st and it went for USD $1'235.00! The average price for such a game usually is about USD $600.00 to $700.00. It looks like some collectors just have been waiting for this a game to show up on eBay...

Game&Watch Exhibition: Pictures
It took some time, but finally here are more pictures from the G&W Exhibition.benila.eu reports about Game&Watch Games
The german website www.benila.eu (BeNiLa = Bergische Nintendo Lan) writes articles about Game&Watch games at irregular intervals. So far benila.eu has added articles about the two games Parachute and Mickey Mouse, both from the Wide Screen Series. Benila describes the games very well regarding their technical details and their gameplay, but provides interesting historical background information as well and makes cross-checking with games from other manufacturers.A must read for collectors and fans of Game&Watch!

Game&Watch memo pad
The website of Nintendo Japan contains an interview with Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo and some of the early developers of the Game&Watch games. Unfortunately the interview is in Japanese only.
But at least there are some very interesting pictures of a memo pad, showing early development sketches of some Game&Watch games!
Update: Meanwhile there is an English translation available in a forum!
